A protest rally against the death of Azerbaijani civilians was held in Canada, Edmonton.
People concerned about violence against Azerbaijan gathered at Ezio Faraone Park on Sunday afternoon. They condemned the Armenian occupation of the Azerbaijani land, which violates international law.
About 40 people came out to mourn those have died in that country and call for peace, CTV News reported.
The U.S. State Department announced on Sunday that a cease-fire between Armenia and Azerbaijan will take effect on Monday, but many fear that it won’t last.

The command of the Azerbaijani Army decided to launch a counter-offensive operation of Azerbaijani troops along the entire front to suppress the combat activity of the Armenian armed forces and ensure the safety of the civilian population. To date, Fizuli and Jabrayil districts, including the cities of Jabrayil and Fizuli, the city of Zangilan and part of Zangilan district, the city of Hadrut and a number of villages in the Khojavend region, the villages of Sugovushan and Talish in the Terter region, as well as the strategically important Murovdag mountain were liberated.
